Digital Investors is a hands-on training for anyone wanting to cash in on the exploding Digital landscape.
While the markets focus on Stocks, bonds, commodities and Real Estate, there is a quiet revolution taking place.
This “review”, is simply a narrative of our experience and perspectives from taking and applying the course. You can also get a full overview of the Digital Investors Course from this free Masterclass
The Boom in online everything is making digital Assets of all descriptions more valuable. At the same, demand from Bricks and Mortar businesses to get online is also feeding the growth of Digital entrepreneurs.
So, when you have the skills to evaluate, buy, renovate, build or consolidate Digital assets, the future can look very bright.
About the Digital Investors Course.
The course is delivered digitally, so we completed it at our own pace. The emphasis is on providing applied Digital skills that even a novice can understand and implement. This was important because we knew nothing about the online world at the time.
Its’ creators are Matt & Liz Raad, who have a business background which includes Business brokering.
So, for them, it was natural to assess a Website as a Business. The same valuation techniques, along with operational Digital skills are at the Heart of the Digital investors training.
Matt & Liz are very open and forthcoming with their information.
How to Make Money from a website
Digital Investors showed us that there are many more ways than we had imagined.
Before getting into specifics, the course stepped us through some proven strategies for accumulating an online Asset base. Along with a broad-brush approach to valuations.
This includes identifying some evergreen options, and some high-risk opportunities which are better left alone. It also becomes obvious early, that understanding Websites is an important skill. This makes sense when most online revenue is still created from one form of Website or another.
To get everyone up to speed, Digital Profits included a bonus copy of the WebDev Accelerator training. WebDev, normally sells for $997 so it’s a significant Bonus.
It took us a little over a week (part time ) to work through, and apply WebDev. We gained the hands on skills to build and understand a WordPress Website. This turned out to be essential later in the Digital Profits program.
Buying your First Website.
Once we had a hands-on Understanding of a Website, we started learning about Buying them.
Like everything in life, it pays to start off small, and make your mistakes without losing Money. For this reason, Digital Investor has some clear recommendations on the value and type of sites to buy First.
Naturally these first sites were not really expected to make us wealthy. What they were intended to be is a vehicle for us to start honing some skills.
One of the significant elements here was learning to evaluate the Niche our website competes in. Unlike physical businesses, the data available to assess the Niche and the business is real. For the most part it can’t be easily fudged by the Seller, and we were trained to identify the Red Flags if any exist.
How to Buy Websites properly
For me, this is where things started to get really interesting. Talk to anyone who invests in Shares, Property, or Traditional Businesses and what do you learn?
One of the first things is that decisions are made without emotion. There is a decision making process to follow, and they follow it. In other words, they follow the numbers. A real estate investor does not but a house because it is a nice shade of Blue. It has to stack up.
Websites are no different. There is a process of assessment to apply to any possible purchase. Just as in regular investment markets Matt & Liz Raad simply call it their “Due Diligence” process. It is clearly spelled out in Digital Investors.
Did you know there is a booming active market for Digital assets, I didn’t!
How to increase a Websites’ income.
We learned all about Website renovation, just like in Real Estate. If we had not already learned how to build a site, and how to buy a site, this fundamental skill would simply not work. So once again the course construction here really worked for us here.
Digital Investor outlines a 3 pronged approach to improving site performance and value.
Put simply, it works, and like everything else, you practice on that simple, inexpensive site you bought earlier.
Starting with a checklist we were able to assess the way that our new site had been set up. That lead to a step by step renovation plan. The plan is about focusing on the three prongs I mentioned.
We set about increasing the sites’ ability to convert visitors into Customers. Then we improved the likely profit that we could earn per Customer. With that done it was time to start pulling in more visitors to the site. In essence these three steps are designed to double the earnings of the site, which at least doubles its’ value as well.
We did these steps over and over again during the training, along with many “practice runs” of Due Diligence on sites we had no intention of buying. As you will see below it really paid off for us.
If sites are valuable, why not Build some?
We really didn’t plan on building Websites, so for us this would have been an easy step to skip. But, again from hindsight we are glad we didn’t.
Consider this, what if you use WebDev to build a moderately decent website, and launch it.
The day you launch it is worth basically nothing. So, you do a little work on it each week
(just like a house).Your work develops it, and each time you improve it Google notices.
This can take a while, but remember this is only your learning phase. Each time the site improves, Google notices, and over time, little improvements add up.
Suddenly the site has visitors. The money making aspects you learned to build into the website, start to pay off.
The income starts to grow and the Website asset value grows with it.
When we looked back at this, what did we really invest to create this growing Asset?
Basically only some time, and some patience to allow it to grow while we started the next step.
It’s like growing trees really. Plant, nurture, and Harvest but the harvest is Money.
How to Sell Websites
This can be a critical element in your Strategy. Smart selling allows you to progressively reinvest in better, more expensive, higher earning Websites.
The Digital Investor program shows you where to sell, how to prepare for sale, and when to sell.
As before, your ability to build helps your understanding of Websites, which also helps you decide when to sell.
Like Real Estate sales, there are financial processes to handle, and logistical stages to move through.
Some of these are Technical and fully guided in the course, and others are handled for you by the website market places. Just follow the steps, and it is far less stressful than you might think.
I stress this point because often you are selling the your asset to a buyer overseas, and expecting payment. In our case, we were surprised when the first substantial sale was to Bulgaria. Just like in real estate the process works if you follow the steps.
Outsourcing much of the work.
We certainly didn’t plan to spend our lives repeatedly building websites. Our plan from the start was to learn the steps, practice them, prove them and then assemble a team to do most of the work for us.
Included in Digital Profits is a guide to finding skilled people to outsource to.
We learned to outsource most of the technical stuff, including most of the Website building.
We also outsourced article writing, social media presence, research, graphic design etc.
Again, knowing how to do it all ourselves first was a massive help when we came to outsource.
The Digital Investors Community
The E-Business Institute also connected us up to their Facebook community where we got to interact with other students. In the early days, this helped clarify some points, especially early technical questions.
We are still active in that community. Now we use it to keep in touch with others on this journey, and to give back some help to newer students.
Included when you buy the Digital Profits course are free tickets to Matt & Liz’s annual 3 day “Digital Investors Fast Track workshop“”, which we just attended again recently. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the event was purely online this time but it lost nothing.
The three days were packed with examples of where things are going online, from small markets to some of the big end of town. There were interviews with Digital Investor students now making substantial incomes from a wide variety of activities.
Guests also included the CEO’s of the main Digital Asset Trading sites.
What we got from Digital Investors Program
We learned how to make money online for the first time.
Our focus was on Website buying skills, renovation skills and Website building. We practiced on the small sites for 8 months before getting started.
Over the next year we purchased 2 established affiliate sites and upgraded them. We also built two more substantial sites from scratch. One was a big affiliate site and the other an information site designed for low traffic and higher revenue per sale.
In the early months our income fluctuated. We did the renovations outlined in Digital Investors and the income started to grow. To our amazement, in month 13 we hit the $100,000 monthly profit level for the first time.
So, from studying Digital Profits we got a substantial income stream. More importantly we got a new skill base, which we still use daily and will use into the future. We also got and a new community, which has been very valuable, especially during the isolation from Covid.
In summary, the Digital Investors program was a very good investment. The support was excellent, and having access to a supportive, like-minded community was a big help when we were trying to get started online for the first time.

Lucy and I are glad we did.

Great review! Digital Investors sure is a great investment. For me, it has paid for itself *many* times over, and in a very short period of time. For instance, our first website purchase had paid for itself within 5 months!
When I stumbled on the Digital Investors course, I had an intention to generate an income online, but I was floundering. I was trying to patch together web design and monetisation from bits and pieces here and there, and I was going backwards. The Digital Investors course taught me how to buy great, cash-generating websites, and to renovate them to make even more money. And that’s just the beginning – I’ve learnt so much from the course about digital marketing in general and how to make money online.
It’s fair to say that Digital Investors was life-changing for me and my family. We now earn a stable income from our online assets, and we’re excited to keep growing our portfolio, while having fun in the process. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from this course and create an exciting new life in the digital world!
