Our SERPchecker review outlines the insights available to help you decide which keyword to rank for.
You can save a lot of time and money by simply targeting the right words.
The problem is, without the right tool, real competition levels for a keyword are not easy to find.
Why you need a Serp checker tool.
Google Serp results are not the same for everyone.
Every time someone searches for a keyword phrase, Google is working for the same outcome. Namely, to provide the user with the best possible results to satisfy their query.
To do this the Google algorithm considers hundreds of ranking factors before producing a page of results. These factors include markers related to where the user is searching from. That’s one reason the Google Serp results for the same search are NOT the same for everyone.
It is also the reason the SERPchecker is so valuable to webmasters and content creators. So what is SERPchecker?

Breaking down your Google Serp results.
This keyword is considered hard to rank for with an overall rating of 58 /100. There are only 2 Serp features which might negatively impact on Organic traffic (in this case a block of 4 Google ads, and a “top stories” carousel. The Serpchecker review suggests there are 29 million pages trying to rank for this keyword.
Below those 3 highlight numbers are the actual Google Serp Results for the location you selected.
Clicking on the listing displayed, allows us to visit the site (in a separate Tab) or load the next page of results with a click of your mouse.
We have circled two items here. The first rates each site on how well it responds to the search query above the fold. The second estimates the percentage of searchers who will click through on to the listing.
Serpchecker review of site Metrics
To the right of the Serp results are the metrics for each site listed. These are color coded for ease of use.
SERPChecker gives you a Link Profile Score (LPS) as an indication of the overall strength of each sites’ link profile.
Domain Authority (DA), Page Authority (PA), from Majestic are displayed as estimates of the ranking strength of the site or individual page.
Next is the Citation Flow (CF) and Trust Flow (TF) calculated by Majestic. These indicate the quantity and quality of links flowing to the page.
(FB) is the number of Facebook shares found for the page followed by (AR) Alexa Rank which is an indication of the popularity of the site compared to all others on the net.
(Links) records the number of incoming links, (RD) is the number of referring domains sending links and (RI) are the number of Referring I.P addresses.
Google is more interested in the number and quality of the sites sending links, than the total number of links themselves.
So, looking collectively at these metrics gives you a pretty good idea of what it will take to get your content ranking in this level of search results.
Have SERPchecker review your site against theirs!
Once your content is published, you can easily slot it into the Search result where you would like it to be. Then, compare your current metrics to those competitors and decide what you need to do to improve rankings.
We added the address of a random page, https://www.esquire.com/style/grooming/advice/g2911/best-electric-shavers and SERPchecker immediately pulled up its metrics. Then, by simply scrolling the screen we can easily compare this page with any of the best ranking pages, or any specific page we might want to compete with.
