Champions Digital Entrepreneurs Program: Our Experience and What to Consider
Long-term coaching can provide structure, accountability and access to experienced guidance, but it is also a substantial commitment. This is our perspective on the Champions program and the questions worth asking before joining any high-level mentoring program.

Why we chose a higher-level program
After completing foundational digital training, we wanted more than a collection of lessons. We were looking for guidance as we applied the material, feedback on our decisions and a community of people building online businesses at different stages.
That led us to the Champions program offered by eBusiness Institute. The program was an important part of our own development, particularly because it combined practical education with accountability and access to people who understood website-based businesses.
What was valuable for us
The greatest value did not come from one tactic. It came from learning to think more commercially about digital assets and having a place to test our ideas.
Structured application
Training becomes more useful when you apply it to a real project and receive feedback on what you are doing.
Accountability
Regular contact can help maintain momentum when the work becomes unfamiliar or competing priorities take over.
Community and relationships
Other participants can become sources of perspective, encouragement, collaboration and practical knowledge.
Commercial thinking
We learned to consider positioning, traffic, monetisation, systems and value together rather than as disconnected tasks.
How the experience looked from inside the program
We joined Champions after completing the earlier levels of eBusiness Institute training, so we were not arriving with only an idea. We had projects underway, questions to solve and enough experience to understand where more direct guidance could help.
What stood out was how differently participants applied the same foundations. People chose different niches, assets and income models. In fact, it was unusual to find two graduates building exactly the same kind of business. That variety helped us see that the value was not a single formula, but the commercial thinking and support around applying it.
We and other graduates went on to build sustained online income from different opportunities introduced through the broader training. That is part of our genuine experience, but it should not be read as a typical result or guarantee. Every business still depended on the market, the decisions made, the resources committed and the work carried out after the coaching sessions.
The relationships also mattered. Having people to discuss decisions with, and seeing how others worked through setbacks, made the learning less isolated. For us, that was one of the strongest reasons to choose a higher-touch program.
What a coaching program cannot do for you
No program can remove the need to make decisions, practise new skills and do the work. It cannot guarantee income, a successful website or a particular timeframe. Results will vary according to the opportunity chosen, the quality of execution, available resources and many factors outside the provider’s control.
This is particularly important when course marketing features high-performing students. Their stories may be genuine, but they do not tell you what a typical experience will be or whether the same approach suits your circumstances.
Questions to ask before investing
- What is included in the current program, and for how long?
- How much direct access will you have to the principal educators or coaches?
- What additional costs might arise for software, websites, advertising or outsourcing?
- How many hours each week can you realistically give to the work?
- Does the program teach the business model you actually want to pursue?
- What happens if your circumstances change or you need more time?
- Can you speak with students who had a similar starting point?
Our view, with the benefit of hindsight
For us, Champions formed part of a much longer journey. It contributed to our skills and confidence, but the businesses and direction we have developed since then also reflect years of experimentation, client work, changing technology and lessons learned outside the program.
Digital Education Experts now covers a wider range of education and pathways. We believe the best decision starts with understanding what you want to build, what support you genuinely need and whether a particular investment fits your current capacity.

Your next step
Compare support with your real needs
Before investing in coaching, get clear about the business model, skills and level of support that suit you.

Such a great program for anyone who wants to future proof their investment strategy while also diversifying their passive income streams! It’s well suited to beginners who are still getting a handle on the whole world of digital marketing and online assets.
I gained clarity, confidence and great inspiration on the Champions program with Matt & Liz. I was able to start generating an income online for myself so I could work for myself and have more time with my growing family. Brilliant stuff, and you don’t have to be ‘technical’ to do it.
